Pulled the ignition lock and tumbler this morning with help from a good friend fellow member MissK716.

Cannot find any kind of key code on the tumbler at all.

Ignition wires already pre hacked, sadly.

Dug into the bus a bit today. I carefully removed the toasted fuse block as to not crack it more.

Not reusable as it is now very brittle.

Buying a 71 fuse block here on thesamba and switching a few terminals.

Note rusted relays from crusty windshield seal.
