Aftermarket, 1968~79 VW Type 2, intra-duct, ventilation booster fans NASkeet
These after-market, two-speed, ventilation booster fans, fit inside the cab ventilation ducts, below the dashboard, behind the inspection covers, adjacent to the cab-door, A-pillars. They were available in 2007 from Bluebird Customs, in Great Britain. They might still be available!
Unlike the genuine, Volkswagen factory-fitted, two-speed, ventilation booster fan's nine-bladed impeller, these fans have have an impeller, with only five blades. View other images: From NASkeet Search Forums for photo

Cold Air Intake Hose hazetguy
After a brief discussion in the forums, I found that this is the way that the stock cold air intake was routed on a dual carburetted bus. I went to the junkyard and found some Mercedes ducting that was pretty close. It works for now. View other images: From hazetguy Search Forums for photo

Rebuild pic keifernet
Since the bus was in CA and the engine was built in TX I just blocked off the vacuum line to the booster etc and test ran it.
Hazetguy has pics in his gallery of when the engine came in and he hooked up all the stock air filter system and all the hoses and stuff the way it should be for the bus. View other images: From keifernet Search Forums for photo
