1957 Ghia Rear Apron Removal Gary
There are some spot-welds on the underside to drill out as well. They hold the apron the underside supports. It is easy to to this when the body is off of the pan. View other images: From Gary Search Forums for photo

Here's a shot of what it looks like when the spot welds have been located and drilled. A center punch helps prevent the drill bit from walking. View other images: From Gary Search Forums for photo
1957 Ghia Rear Apron Removal Gary
I had to remove the rear apron from a 1959 Ghia for a buyer. The right side of the engine bay had rotted under the battery, and some PO had welded in a plate of steel. I used my 4" grinding wheel on the welds of the plate and the rear latch cable. I used a wire wheel to remove the paint around the seam to make it easier to locate the spot-welds. 1968 Manual Ghia Pan Gary
Picked up a 1968 Ghia pan with a manual transmission. In 1968, manuals were still swingaxle and have 4-lug wheels. The seats are from an earlier Ghia, as 1968 Ghias have one-year only highbacks. View other images: From Gary Search Forums for photo

Pic of left side aluminum bits for Golde Sunroof HouseofGhia
I need these aluminum bits, but for the right side. Are any other Golde sunroof parts interchangeable?
Also looking for the center (sliding) portion of the sunroof....It will most likely have to be made. View other images: From HouseofGhia Search Forums for photo

trip speedo gear replacement TimGud
Repairing an old trip speedometer that had a broken gear. Searched through all my parts and found one that I could cut down on the lathe to make work. The picture is decieving and the two look different lenghts but they are same. The extra groove won't cause any problems, just looks weird. View other images: From TimGud Search Forums for photo

One Modern Tunes Solution RockStock
This was my prototype stereo board from 10yrs ago…fitted in a Coupe, but a shallower version would also work in a Cab.
I cut a removable hinged plywood board that fitted in the opening immediately behind the rear seat…it housed the header unit (make it remote control), & two 6x9s.
Two hinges at the bottom (fastened to the board with wing-nuts for easy removal, & leaving a gap for the carpet), & two subtle latch mechanisms at the top (two small locating brackets were spot welded to the underside of the shelf).
I planned on upholstering the board in a vinyl to match the rear compartment shelf.
CD multi-changer was secured behind the board on the rear compartment floor, back left.
To get access to the luggage compartment, or the CD changer, you undid the top latches, and folded the whole board forward. The stereo was hidden from view when the car was parked up by putting the rear seat back back up.
Pretty simple set-up, but the sound was good! I’d refine the design next time I fit one. View other images: From RockStock Search Forums for photo
