While pulling a gas tank (from a 1958 ghia) from the rafters I noticed the word "Manfred" on the bottom. The lettering appears to be the result of residue that caused the paint there to oxidize differently then the rest of the tank.

I believe the handle with the hollow grab bar is earlier. It is also missing the slotted piece on the back end of the lock cylinder area
