Cheap repair for a Thing visor. Cut visor along seam with razorblade and pull foam and frame out. Straighten wire frame if needed and cut new ½" thick foam about ¼" to ½" bigger than wire frame.

Back seats with armrests and headrests will be a little deeper, but still fold mostly flat to provide minimal cargo space loss.

These are the seats I am installing in my Thing. Though not in it yet, all measurements indicate they should be a pretty good fit.

The bushings were a pain to slide on - had to use a little lube, a bench vise, hammer, and deep socket to push them on and adjustable pliers to twist them.

I picked up some (badly needed) Monroe shock from ebay and a urethane swaybar bushing kit from CIP and installed them today. Front view while the engine sits on the ground in the back.

Replaced the mounts and clutch release lever bushing with urethane (plus heavy-duty kit.)

Cleaned and rebooted 3 CV joints and replaced the fourth. Painted the axles with POR20 in silver. Replace the tranny mounts with red urethane mounts. Replaced all the tranny gaskets, reverse idler gear, all bushings and gaskets, and powerwashed it.
