Pictures finally for thoise who have asked.
2 of them came with the goofy 3 spoke caps. I'm working on a set of OG caps right now. Once they are cleaned and have the right caps they will go on my ride....

8.5 rears. I have pics. which will help answer your questions. There's more than one way to do things and it all depends what you intend to do for now AND later. First of all the beam is stock. The pics. show what I have now just to get the wheels on the car. As mine sits, I have a empi adapters on all fours and additional 15MM spacers in the rear which with 255-40 tires sat about a 1/4" from the spring plate ( I can also sell you the spacers if you need them.) If your axles are original like mine (short) and you are going to use disc brakes you will also need spacers. Early 944 brakes usually push out your offset by an inch and will take the place of the adapters. You can skip the spacers if you're willing to change over to long axles, but the wheel and tire will be pushed out another 3/8 inch and will let you lower it a couple of degrees more. After driving it the suspesion settled and the edge of the tire lined up with the edge of the fender. They did rub a little on the inside against the body mount with suspension travel. Installing 1.25" wider fenders on the back and keeping the ride height close to stock were my plans. Look at my other pics. to see how they look on the car.
