I have 2 different sets of NOS (aftermarket?) 36hp push rods. One set looks like every other 36hp set I have seen (lower in pic). The other set has ends like a 1500-- type push rod. The shaft on the "normal" set is 8mm in diameter, while the "odd" set has a shaft diameter of 9mm.
Anyone have any info as to what the "odd" set may be from? Early Porsche? Any info appreciated.

I removed this from a 1958 beetle. It was attached to the back of the speedometer and then the speedo cable attached to this. The '58 had several "updated" parts from a 1966 bug. I couldn't find a VW emblem on it anywhere, so I don't believe it is factory. I don't know exactly what this part is or what it does. Any information is appreciated. Thank you. [email protected]
