This is just a little (very little) peek of some of the stuff we got today at Mark herberts place. Gene Berg linkage,oil pump cover,3.5 qt. old oil sump, 3 DDS ARPM power pulleys, EMPI Eliminator complete. I'm selling all of this stuff except the Eliminator shifter that's going in my 43 Split.

cool german dealer badge spotted at Buses By the Bridge show a couple of weekends ago, this Original Very faded paint Seagull Grey/Mango Green early 1959 (High Tailights) Standard Microbus was for sale on the Samba a while back and was from Montana....I wanted this one but just missed it!!very little rust on this one...it had the full interior and the european bumpers on it, imported from Germany by a serviceman....great score David!!

I have a set of these unique fuel metering devices(not really a carb, nor are they injectors) manufactured by Sauer & Sohn of Germany. They are from the mid to late 70's I think. There is no float bowl, just a metering block controlled by the position of the throttle plate. I have tried searching the net for information on these but have come up dry. The manifolds are for dual port application. I can remember seeing these for sale in VW Greats Magazine. If anybody has any info please email me. Thanks John

The upper in the pic is a Continental valve stem cap, the lower 2 are Alligaro Germany.

The KDF seat is out of my 43 and the other split seat is for 50-52. They are totally different. The KDF seat obviously is a wingnut seat and the top is shorter with different spring frame configuration and is also not as curved as the later seat.Notice the period Huls recliner on my 50 & later seat
