Rare Empi button and Speedwell wheel DannyZ
I found this Very Rare Speedwell steering wheel at a local shop. They had this wheel and a Empi GTV wheel and button in a display case. I saw a price tag and asked how much are the wheels? He said the GTV is $150 and the other wheel (Speedwell) is not for sale its my friends. He pulled both the GTV and the Speedweel wheels out. I grab the GTV and thought to myself I'm buying this wheel. I'm holding the GTV looking at the Speedwell thinking Oh my God that button is white. I've never seen or heard of a white Empi button befroe. I asked the shop owner again how much is this wheel(speedwell).? He said $100. 5 minutes before he said it's not for sale. Well I had to buy them both. Sorry it's not for sale. View other images: From DannyZ Search Forums for photo

Vanagon with jalousie windows honeybus
Now here's an unretouched picture of a Vanagon with a jalousie window. I just thought you would like to see that it IS possible. This is NOT a stock option. Some previous owner had fabricated the jalousie window by removing the glass and saving the frame of a Vanagon side window, and attaching the jalousie window of a VW bay window camper. There was only VERY MINOR modifications done to the bay window jalousie frame; the upper corners were ground down slightly on the jalousie window's frame. If you want to try this at home, it will be obvious when you match up the bay window jalousie to the frame of the Vanagon side window. The jalousie was then pop riveted to the frame of the Vanagon window, then the whole thing went into the Vanagon with the Vanagon's own rubber.
There were two jalousie windows on the Vanagon. One survived. The previous owner had done each window slightly differently, and one way was definitely the better, so think about it before you make your final decision. This is a picture of the less favorable choice, and the window was trashed after it was taken apart. The other side, which underwent the better process, was saved!!! Better and more detailed pictures of this window may be available…
The Vanagon side window frame is NOT a solid piece, but it is cut, so you can open up the Vanagon side window frame to slip the bay window jalousie frame inside, right where the Vanagon’s glass was. Then you can pop rivet (or use tiny metal screws, just like the original bay window jalousie installation) the jalousie INSIDE the Vanagon frame where the glass was.
