Ok,I guess the secret is outta the bag since you can now get em on ebay, so here goes.
Go directly to your local Hallmark Card Store, with checkbook in hand, or other retailer that sells Hallmark Christmas Ornanments. (Yes, I KNOW it's only August!)
But, there is a limited edition Herbie the Love Bug Diecast Ornament this year! They will probably sell out fast, as they had only 6 at the big hallmark store near me. And they are collectible to VW people, Disney people, and just the regular hallmark collcetors too.

You heard it here first..

Here's a 1/18 scale single cab model my friend found at Marshalls Dept store of all places. A more true to life example of what most SC's look like nowadays. Complete with dirt/rust/dents.

One is slightly modified... taken apart, painted in blue with a brush, given a 'deluxe' trimming with a black pen and ran on Matchbox Panoz GTR1 wheels... classy.
