Two pages of drawings for disc brake bracket that I drew up and made for my 73 std beetle to convert it from drum to disc brakes. Works with AC industries ghia style discs and calipers. This bolts to the hub where the drum brakes used to. I'm not 100% of the years that this will work for, but you should be able to cross reference what years of std beetle spindles work on a 73 and go from there.

These seem to be workign for me without any trouble, I used to design similar parts for racecars, and this is definatly stout enough to hold up to the forces that a beetle front disc brake steup can produce.

If you want to tackle making something like this some of the outside radius dimensions can be fudged and changed, but the important dimensions are the offset from the face where the part bolts to the hub and the hole dimensions.
