This is my 68 fastback with sunroof. It has lived it's entire life in San Jose, CA. I am the second owner. I am in the process of installing a rebuilt motor and replacing 2 rusty fenders.

pan off resto... artic polar porsche silver. brick red interior. 1776cc with a freeway flyer tranny. took 3 years to build. like to thank my wife (robynne) who help me with my project. oh yea.... the car is a 56 standard.

I just finished the restoration on this
1955 Beetle. It has the original engine and a newer transaxle, it is a fun car to drive. I am a California transplant in Indiana. Needless to say I have gone through quite a Volkswagen culture shock.

Back of my '58 Panel. The bus was driven by a collector who also had a camper and some vintage bugs. He used it for his business (working gear) as a moving billboard and drove it on a regular basis. He restored the car completely. The original number is 2/21 F which makes it a fire-truck. And indeed, when you remove the He revised the engine (as you can see on the picture) and mounted some new iron at the bottom. Instead of using a original gearbox, he used a gearbox of a bug, which made it somewhat easier to drive.

Long Island, NY: Here's my '69 Fasty. I'm not sure, but it may be the lowest mileage, unrestored, nearly all original Type-3 in the states, 11,615 as of Oct 4,2000!

This is my son's 1974 412 wagon, which is his daily driver at college in eastern TN. Original Alaska Blue metallic paint needs some touch-up, otherwise it's still in excellent condition with about 120K miles. Tinted windows and Hella fog lights really make it stand out. Has working Eperspacher heater which had never been started. Two years ago we drove it 3000 miles from Sacramento to Virginia in 4 days at 70mph and it ran like a racehorse the whole way!

My stock 1967 doublecab at the Sept 2000 Manassas (VA) Bug Out. I am 3rd owner. Original pearl white paint and grey basketweave upholstery, still almost like new. Truck has 106K total miles. Runs on 2nd 1500cc engine with 009 dizzy and 30-PICT-1 carb. Dash came with original VDO clock which still keeps correct time, and I added '60s Blaupunkt Emden III radio with correct speaker bracket. Originally purchased from the famous Econo Motors in Riverside CA, where first owner had dealer install Empi steps, 2nd dome light, and battery access door. I replaced original wood runners in bed with correct reproduction set, and restored all trim panels. Now all I need to find is a set of tilts and bows.

It was a van for a political partie ( SPD). it makes a lot of noise and the driver likes Fortuna Düsseldorf. look the paintings.

This bus is 1974 and remake of a Rheinbahn-Service van. The Rheinbahn is a public traffic company. Linie D is the owner. Linie D is a club of friends for historic trams. They own a 1967 splitscreen panelvan, too. Look under 49- 67panelvans.

this is a 1971 type4 411. i just bought it from the original owner who bought it from north valley vw right here in chico,california. he has only put 82,000 miles on this car in 29 years.everything works perfect right down to the rocker dome light and gas heater. i'm excited to own this unique peice of volkswagen history. this is the only one i know of in chico. i'm intrested in starting a type4 national club if anyone else is intrested let me know thanks.
