trail fitted some modern (993 16") Porsche alloys.
Up front 7x16 et55 with 185/50 and at the rear 9x16 (!) et70 with a 225/45x16 tyre.
Made my own spacer (42mm) to get them under the rear wings.
No tyre rubbing, no clearance problems, just 3mm clearance with the rear wheelarch
fender lip, and the same on the inside where the 1303 IRS arms are sitting.
Next time I'll try some 7,5 & 9x17 CupI

drove it to work today, had a brake mishap but now it's fixed. Smooth running 1776cc- gotta break her in next 500 miles!
