And the best part, a newly built Vanistan (Chris Corkins) balanced and blueprinted engine. Can't say enough nice things about the engine and Chris, great job and great person to work with. He's the man for wasserboxer engines. Cruises at 75-80, no problems, and that's fast enough for the VW design.
Also want to thank a good friend (Klaus Huebner-Spring Branch Imports, LLC) who helped with the restoration and sadly passed away toward the latter part of this project. Without his help, I would have been over my head and taken much longer than the one year it did take. Auf Wiedersehen! |
