Perfect front window repair with no welding tools required . pin gun , good quality left and right metal cutters, saran wrap, masking tape, all metal epoxy, sandpaper, Epoxy PRimer, Color coat, Pre Val self contained spray system with extra air cartrages, mask for paint fumes, sanding block, dye grinder electric , vice grips, couple of magnets.razor blades.1- grind all rust off ,2 make a metal plug that will fit into the rust hole you are working on ( make a bigger than the hole, stick a pin on cut out plug you are working on. make sure you can get it in the hole you are working on ( sometimes you have to improvise a little depending on the shape and where it is.) 3-once you know it fits you can take a back out and spread some 2 part epoxy on the tab side of plug then carefully slide it into the hole and lift up for a few seconds and it will set up shortly where you have it. dont be stingy on the epoxy ,spend a few minutes with the plug to make sure its correctly located . I use fast cure all metal that starts kicks off in about 60 seconds. after you do a few it will be easy . I like to glue a few on then go back to the first one and cut the pin off.. and grind the stub down. go slow dont build up a lot of heat from grinding. the epoxied plug is now just below the area that was rusty.when all the pins are cut off and the nubs ground down you can block the area with 40 grit and a hard wood block then fill the spots that are low and then block again with 80 grit. 4 tape everything off and spray a coat of 2 part epoxy primer. the less runs you have the less clean up you have. 5 block with 400 and spray a final color coat. give a days time between epoxy coats so it can cure . 6 Now that you have ground off all the rust and replaced everything with metal , and have not caught the bus on fire from welding, squeeze in a new window and rubber .
