And got two trees loaded inside the bus, one for us and one for our next door neighbor.
We've had a ton of rain for the past week, and yesterday was the first somewhat dry day. So these roads were made up of a some slick and gooey mud, a few inches deep. It was so much fun!
The bus climbed up a few really steep hills that the turbo diesel 4x4 truck guys were spinning their tires on, and got cheers when we made it to the top. The only problem I had was in a deep rut, where one of the back wheels came off the ground and I couldn't move. But all it took was one guy sitting in the open hatch so that the tire could touch the ground, and we were good to go.
I hope it rains again next year! |
