| These are not the best images, but you can get the idea from them. The standard 20 liter Jerrycan containment 'cages' were used and have been secured to both the bottom sheet metal of the rear parcel area AND to the back of the engine room sheet metal. They have been further secured with rubber bungees, such as are easily obtained from most auto parts stores. Thus, they have been as well secured against impact forces (crash) as possible. 'Triebstoff' is 'fuel' in German; 'Trinkwasser' is 'Drinking water' (cans are marked externally with a white cross on both sides). |
