Horn ring repair or replace

Use emory cloth to clean brass edge inside the steering column and the brass contact ring that the screws go through. Also clean the ground wire contact. The brass contact ring has a lip around the edge. There is a video on youtube that insists the lip should point up. I found that the ring was facing down towards the floor when I disassembled so I put it back that way and it worked.
