Early 411 Sedan in EFA Museum, Amerang, Bavaria Posted: Sat Jun 20, 2015 1:32 pm     Views: 54      Rating: Not rated

'68 or '69 411 2-door sedan displayed in the EFA Automobile Museum in the village of Amerang, approx. 40 miles east of Munich. Appears to be Deep Sea Green with beige cloth interior. Rear view mirror without day/night function ('68?), a fingerless gas flap (most other VWs as of '69), and lack of chrome side trim on the driver's side points to a base 411, not a 411 L. Info plaque did not indicate any specific information about this car.

Yellow car in background is an NSU Ro80 with Wankel (rotary) engine.
