-'64 Ghia cabrio, bought late summer 1983 in North Bergen, NJ.
-'70 Ghia coupe parts car bought Oct. 1983 in New City, NY. Rusty body but good solid pan. Towed home with my '80 Dasher diesel daily driver.
-'64 pan and '70 pan removals late 1983.
-'70 pan redone spring 1984; Porsche 914 5.5" sport steel wheels.
-'64 Ghia headlight rot cut out late summer 1984, and body on '70 pan.
-'64 Ghia rust patched; registered and driveable spring 1985, to VVWCA spring meet at Howard Holmes VW in Elmsford NY.
-Rust patch panels brazed on summer 1986.
-NOS '67 top pro installed late 1986
-Professional bodywork and full exterior repaint spring 1988.
-Driven every year since '85 except for 2014.
