| This plate reinforces the body to torsion tube mount. It has a vertical bead that stops halfway down the height of the plate. Also there's a pesky factory hole through the plate, near the heater pipe. On this car (and many others I'm sure), the bead was full of dirt and everything began rusting from the inside out. My replacement is 16 gauge with no holes or bead. 1957 lowlight Ghia. |
