The nose had been hit so the PO cut the nose brace and used a ram on the nose ridge, which put a nifty dent in the edge of the brake fluid shelf. Leaks were sealed with expanding foam then everything painted flat black to camouflage the craftsmanship.
This is after I started chiseling the foam. It was 1.5 inches deep all the way across the bottom and filled the depression for the spare tire. 1957 lowlight Ghia. |
