Planning is everything. The blue tape is the line the tent must align to. I placed it all around the top to the tent would be set just like the old one.
Replacing the pop top tent on an early staple-type is a straight forward task, requiring only time and the proper tools. My pneumatic crown nailer-stapler is the wrong tool, so an electric Stanley stapler was purchased for the T-50 9/16 staples. That tool was a dud, as it did not have enough power to set the staples but half way. Now waiting for a pneumatic stapler (Surebonder 9600A) that runs the T-50 9/16 staples to arrive this week. I will share how well that unit works in the next post. |
