| My new acquisition being collected soon. 2 previous owners from new, never restored, Original Motor, original interior just carpet replacement. 90k Miles, 1st owner laid it uo in 75 after 60K miles and after his death bequeathed it to the present owners father. He couldnt drive it so gave it to his son. who took possession in 1985 since then has traveled 1000 miles a year. I worked on it in 85 to recommission it after 15+ years in a UK wooden Garage, when recommissioned the Registration number was lost as the car was off the system for years. When the rules changed the original number was resurrected. Some before and recent pics. I was given the original Hazet toolkit for my help and it will be reunited with the car when it comes into my possession. I mentioned in 85 if the owner wished to sell i would like first offer, and its taken him 30 years to let me have the chance and im stoked. |
