The worst part is truly the teeny tiny screw installation. I found that a mechanics pick worked wonders to go through the hole in the alloy rail, piercing a hole in the bead below and finding the existing screw hole in the bus roof. Dental picks might work but they seem a bit too dainty in my opinion.
Though I have restored several buses, this is my first tent. For those who think it is a quick day task, please consider that to reuse the plastic strip on the tent top one must remove hundreds of staples. By hand. One at a time. That eats time and is the only section that allows beer consumption. |
