Why are the lug bolts and nuts at different depths? Posted: Mon Sep 26, 2016 9:41 am     Views: 20      Rating: Not rated

The socket is set against the shoulder on the head of the lug bolt in front and against the wheel in the rear. The socket is at different depths side to side. I might expect a difference front/rear, but not side to side. Why is there a difference? Do I have two different sets of wheels, instead of four matched wheels?
