| Samba userRome posted a picture February 18 of a black Myers Manx at the 1984 Bug-Out in Manassas, Virginia. The black Manx belongs to me and has gone through several repaints and changes over the years. I built it in 1969 when the color was the original metal flake gold. In 1980 I changed the car from an all-purpose Manx to a strictly street Manx and painted it black. In 1990 I disassembled the Manx and sold most everything but the body. In 2011 the body was restored and painted yellow and placed on a completely different pan with all new / rebuilt components. The Manx is now back to an off-road / street vehicle but is only driven around town. |
