1970 convertible Ghia home made seat belt guide Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:17 pm     Views: 22      Rating: Not rated

After much thought and deliberation, I finally decided to take this task on for myself and not have one made or purchase one. I decided to make one myself.

1) Purchased a leather hole punch (20mm) from Amazon
2) Purchased a leather trim punch from Amazon
3) Bought a couple of black leather straps from Michael's hobby store
4) Measured about 24 inches of strap, cut and folded it over.
5) Used the headrests themselves to make points on the strap before punching the holes. Folded over the strap to mark the other two points. Used a finished strap as a template for the other strap.

This seems to be working great and am happy with the results thus far.
