Carrera GT Plexi window details

This is an original Plexi window from my old 62 Carrera GT car. I`ve mounted the hinge to show how it was found when I bought the car in the early 80s. The hinge is the standard hinge from the chrome frame rear quarter window. There was a gasket between the hinge and the Plexi made from typical 356 interior black vinyl. The standard acorn nuts were also used. I`m showing an interesting detail.....the hand-filed bevel for the hinge clearance to the Plexi. These things were really hand-made. I use this window as a template for my repro windows.
