| One of the cover cars of the Hot Rod Industry News specialty magazine detailing the rise of VW's popularity in the mid sixties. Also on the cover Empi 's "Inch Pincher" drag car. The Thunder bug had Sky Blue Silver Pearlescent paint that changed to Gold when light hit it by Bill Carter. The Porsche Motor, Cragar Mags and all chrome was Gold plated and the interior was fur with 4 Suede high back Bucket seats. Built from a 64' Bug the ragtop opening was filled with gold tinted Plexiglass |
