Pushrod tube offset modification Posted: Fri Nov 09, 2018 1:40 am     Views: 56      Rating: Not rated

Pushrod tubes don't center in the holes because the angle that tube comes at the head, which is different for each side of the engine. This makes the pushrods very close to the edge of the tubes.
I found it is possible to offset the angles seat so they DO center.
Special tool is a slice of torsion bar welded to a bar, with a tube jammed on it to reduce chatter.
The downside is now the heads now are dedicated to right and left sides. I moved the seat .010 up, and .010 to the side.
