Wheel chock with a strap that's clipped to the fender lip.
I can set the chock, then roll onto it from the driver's seat.
Also pull up on the strap, drive off it, and pull it up.
My van has disc rear brakes which add great hydraulic stopping power but as a parking brake are almost "zero".
Someday, when I find a disc brake tht holds I will replace it. |
