Since I had to destructively remove them from the trailing arms for replacement, I took some pictures of the inner construction for comparison to each other and to the current offerings.
Inside the presumably 1977 OG balljoint, made by Lemförder, Clockwise from top, thick steel cap, ball joint shaft/shank, plastic socket/cup. Plenty of grease in there, the boot was still in good shape and survived removal to perhaps live another day. |
