TV show "Monk: Mr Monk takes the Stand" (Season 8, episode 5) has consulting detective Adrian Monk (actor Tony Shalhoub), his assistant Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard) and police detective Randy Disher (Jason-Gray Stanford) going to a foreign car parts store to look for a specific taillamp bulb. The store has many VW parts such as a 4-bolt steel wheel, headers, front axle beam, fan shroud. You also see a Beetle poster behind Monk, and a VW event poster "Volksfest '98" at the counter.
IMDB shows the location as E & C Auto Parts on Reseda Boulevard, Reseda, California (San Fernando Valley). Looking at GoogleMaps, the location is no longer a car parts store. |
