An unofficial, and certainly not attempting to be illegal (although perhaps just a tad un-lawful) group of VW buses met and drove from San Francisco down to Monterey along the 1 Highway together on Saturday, May 16th, 2020.
Practiced social distancing, wore face masks, etc.
Lovely drive. Caravan of mostly Vanagons, one Westy Bay, and one Westy split (ours, "The Toaster").
Was a join/leave at will kind of event; I think the most vehicles traveling together at once was about 22. |
