| TV show, season 5, episode 18 "The Girl on the Balance Beam" (1976). The Engine 51 emergency team work to get a trapped driver (Ronnie Schell) out of his black Beetle. Barely visible are what appear to be 1966 slotted wheels, but the steering wheel is white (thru '65), and the driver's front blinker lens is clear vs the right front which is amber. Team uses a "jaws of life" to pull the cowl and steering column away from the driver, after breaking out the windshield. Driver was somewhat drunk, but was not injured. Where's the rear bumper? |
