In the frantic and destructive car chase between police detective Burt Simpson (Dabney Coleman) driving a brown Dodge Diplomat and the antagonists, they jump over a blue '73 Beetle. Apparently the same car- engineless- is at the end of the chase, which gets smashed by the antagonist's full size sedan.
