Roger Moore plays James Bond. I have some photos of Type 2 from this movie in the Gallery already.
1, 2, 3. Bond is hitchhiking to try to get to the air base where a time bomb is set to go off. The red Ghia Cabriolet has been pointed out numerous times, it having a fake grill. Notice also the 1970 US-style rectangular rear reflectors (Euro-market were round), '72-style red-blinker taillamp lenses which crudely overlap the lower reflectors, flared front wheelwells, missing OE front blinkers. Although the Ghia stops as if to pick Bond up, the driver and friends were just teasing him and drives off as he approaches.
4, 5. The blue dune buggy is in the background where Bond lands on the road when his mini jet runs out of fuel. This is at the beginning of the movie.
6. Black Beetle at West Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie border crossing into East Berlin. Bond is in the black Mercedes-Benz 200.
7, 8. White Super Beetle 1302 which picks Bond up after his failed attempt with the Ghia Cabrio. Friendly German couple drop him off in the village square, where he steals the Alfa Romeo GTV 6 and rushes to the air base.
9, 10. Pale yellow bumperless 1970 Beetle parked at the air base, with another brown one at right.
