| Hi everyone, My name is Corey and I just bought a 1969 Baja bug which I plan on making into a fun Baja/offroad/drift buggy. The majority of the bugs time will be spent on dirt roads with many bumps and I want to lift my bug but don’t know what to buy or where to buy it. The bug has a 5 inch body lift and big ass tires, I’ll have to look at the tires next time i work on it to get an exact size but do any of you have recommendations on how I can lift my bug and have it ride better? My father owns a Honda dealership and body shop and my grandfather has a fleet of over 50 classic cars so I have access to lifts, tools, and extremely knowledgeable mechanics, but none have worked on bugs. Any suggestions for suspension? This is my first project car and I’m so stoked |
