| December of 2020 had a oil line come off. Warning light didn't work, and yup the 2054 is toast. So what else is there to do but go bigger? What a friggin long drawn out process this has been. Was at the machine shop doing the long block for 3 months. Then waiting on the 911 conversion kit. Then, two months at the muffler shop to get the custom exhaust done. Get it back and fire it up. HHummmm something ain't right. Runs like crap backfires big time. Take it to a local shop to dial it in. Sync carbs, timing, adjust linkage. Make everything right. 3 weeks there. They say compression on 3 and 4 is only about 70 psi. Pull it back out and off to the machine shop with it. as of 10-8-21 still there. Supposed to be back 10-15-21 We'll see. gonna be a 2258, straight cut gear stroker. |
