| Mark location of each cross member under the floor. Make parallel cuts using circular saw with 7" metal cutting blade. Set a very SHALLOW DEPTH over shift rod tube & metal lines. Lift out cut floor sections. Use an air chisel under the length of the metal strips still attached to cross members, breaking the spot welds as you go. Grind exposed welds flat. Treat & paint all exposed metal while floor is out. |
