| Back to work on the Type 4 turbo build. Engine tins are fitted and I trimmed off the un-needed excess around the outer edge. A 5/8" OD tube has been added to the 1-2 valve cover for crank case vent hose and I started building the plumbing. Also, since we are using Fitech with timing control we needed to use an MSD style distributor. In order to do this on a Type 4, you have to clearance the engine tin right by the distributor. A little carful work work with a bottle torch and ballpeen hammer gave the needed room. |
