Wiper wiring 1967 2-speed vs 1966/earlier single speed and converting Posted: Tue Nov 27, 2007 9:22 pm     Views: 4608      Rating: Not rated

Diagram of both the 1967 wiper motor wiring, and the 1966/earlier style. Also diagrams on how to use the later switch to run the earlier motor - or to add two resistors in there to effectively give two speeds.

I believe the resistances I have in my 62 are
Resistor #1 - 1.7 ohms;
Resistor #2 - 1.3 ohms; (but I use an adjustable hi-watt resistor so I can alter that at need)

NOTE - this is the revised diagram, I previously had this up with a couple of the conversion terminal numbers reversed.
