| Spotted at the Central Ohio Vintage Volkswagen Club Volksfest 2003. This outstanding 1300cc Ghia was a European delivery car back in '66. An Ohio nurseryman bought it there, toured Europe, then brought it home. Car has rare "ship to shore" radio and a Bosch semi-orbital base antenna I've never seen before. It even has the flawless, original full tonneau cover with snaps mounted on the dash corners! Never seen one intact. Original boot as well. F case. The works... It was an amazing car. 3rd devoted owner drove it, with the family, to the show. So why didn't it place in its class?! Too bad! Hope they're back next year... |
