| This is Sam Cabiglio and the broken down Porsche Engine he ran in his Fiat, At the time a VW or Porsche engine was a mystery to most Americans. The little Fiat ran 12 second quarter mile times back then. Big Block Chevelle's were running 13.24's. To get blown off by a little bug car lead to 10 deep crowds gathered around the little Fiat in the pits to see the rocket motor. Today Sam Cabiglio is the fleet manager for Jerry Seinfelds car collection. Jerry has Porsche 911 number1 and the last 911 to come off the assembly line for export to the US. Jerry was also involved in a accident driving a Fiat 500 not long ago. Seems the 500 brakes failed. Sam had never seen the car so this is on Jerry. How about a 911 powered Fiat 500? |
