Hood 53 'gumball' is placed 6 inches from hood handle (6.5 to 7 inches if using the hood crest). Avoid the common mistake of placing it way too high on the hood, ruining the look of an otherwise nicely done Herbie the Love Bug replica. These 2 are correct.
