| my motor has been out of the car for a better part of 6 months now... it's been a work-in-progress and a fill-in job at volksauthority in san jose... the problem, of course, with fill-in jobs is that a good mechanic never really has any downtime. i initially envisioned the final motor with dual zentih carbs, the porsche breather and oil filter, OT pulley and abarth exhaust -- really a 356-style motor. ray and gary have added a few personal touches such as the downdraft tube on the porsche breather as well as some interesting breather attachments that are not yet on the car... they're doing a great job and i'm excited to get the car on the road again. i'll post more (clear) images once the engine is finished and installed. |
