Soft and supple = pre '86. Hard, crispy and shitty = post '85. A result of sun exposure or different plastic? My "supple" handles are the ones on the A pillar with all the sun exposure. The sucky ones are connected to the doors. You decide. Huge difference (not evident in pix).
