| In the 1988 rarest of the rare in hot VWs, they feature a black ambulance fan switch as being rarest of the rare. The interesting thing is that this is not a stock VW part. I have seen over 50 sets of ambulance fans, including over a dozen original dove blue and half a dozen sand green (like my set) all of those sets were in or came out of buses that had stock black steering wheels, stock black heater control knobs, and stock black dash knobs. Every one of those sets of ambulance fans had a stock ivory switch. The parts book shows three colors of steering wheels, three colors of dash knobs, but only one ambulance fan switch (no color choice). |
