Gas gauge circuit Posted: Wed Aug 29, 2012 5:42 pm     Views: 188      Rating: Not rated

Decluttered gas gauge circuit. Power supplied by Ignition switch "D", then goes to fuse S1. Black wire from S1 supplies power to Generator warning light AND then jumps to the Fuel gauge vibrator (J6). Vibrator reduces voltage down to around 6VDC. out side of Vibrator goes to positive side of fuel gauge (G1). Negative side of fuel guage is connected to sender (G), which provides an input signal of 0 to 180 ohms depending on position of sender arm.
